Toronto Food Photographer | Lana Malykh - Gardel

The series of photos below was done for Gardel restaurant in Toronto's East end. The purpose of the photo session was to create social media content to highlight their appetizers and impressive wine selection. Launched during the pandemic, the restaurant was not open for indoor dining at the time of the photoshoot. The tricky part for me as a food photographer was to portray the Euro-Latin flavour of the establishment without showing the actual setup too much as the place was not open to public. Not an easy task for Toronto Instagram photographers under lockdown but it was definitely a challenge worth taking.
